VIA C7-D-BasedgPCThe gPC from Everex was originally touted as a Google PC but I always knew it was g for Green not Google. How so? Well because Google, as far as I know, don't make, build or design Pcs but most revealing was the fact that it uses the most eco-friendly platform on the market - the VIA C7-D. While the gPC is also very interesting because of its emphasis on cloud computing and web-based (or should we just say Google?) applications, the gPC is also a very green machine. This article appeared today on our sister site, VIA Arena, and is written by Matt Ambrose. Matt outlines the relative benefits of the gPC and other energy-efficient systems from the perspective of the planet we live on.
