The UMPC market is growing with new devices appearing left right and center. UMPCs are distinct from netbooks and mini-notes, being smaller, hand-held devices that cost a bit more, often using a slider rather than clam-shell design. I had the pleasure of using an OQO e2 on business trip a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially showing off to my friends a full x86 PC that I could pull out of my pocket.
Gigabyte has recently launched their M704 UMPC, an updated version of the Gigabyte U60 that uses a 1.2GHZ VIA C7-M processor with the all-in-one VIA VX700 media chipset. It has a 7" screen with a native resolution of 1024x600 and comes with either a 40GB or 60GB hard drive. I believe that connectivity modules are available for HSPDA and other new fangled ways of getting online, as well as the regular built-in Wi-Fi you would expect.
My buddy Chippy over on the UMPC Portal has done a fantastic video of the device.
