Naked Pico ChallengeTo celebrate the launch of the latest VIA EPIA PX5000EG Pico-ITX board from VIA, we've organized a competition where you can win an ARTiGO Builder Kit by simply guessing how long the PX5000EG can last without any cooling whatsoever. We're calling it the Naked Pico Challenge.

On Wednesday (at 12pm Taiwan time) the Naked Pico Challenge competition page will officially close and the PX5000EG will be relieved of its heatsinks while running, leaving it completely bare and exposed. You'll be able to follow its progress via a live webcast with video updates from myself during the week.

Thousands of you have already signed up and made your guesses. Some of you predict a system failure in moments, others see the wee Pico-ITX board lasting days and even weeks.

We've set a limit of two weeks for the experiment. If the PX5000EG is still alive and kicking after a fortnight we'll attempt to raise the heat and force it to capitulate to our whim and a prize draw will be held to decide the winner of the coveted ARTiGO Kit.

Come on what are you waiting for? It's not like you get a chance to take part in history everyday. This is surely the first time anyone tried to kill a cute and cuddly Pico board live on the web.
