S3 Graphics last week announced their latest Chrome 400 Series graphics architecture promising rock solid Hi-Def video playback and DirectX 10.1 gaming for mobile and power-efficient platforms. This video was shot at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last week and showcases S3 Graphics' PanoChrome technology. PanoChrome allows users to hook up three screens to their gaming rig via two Chrome 400 based cards connected using MulitChrome, a technology similar to SLI or Crossfire.
The game featured is r-Factor, a very powerful racing simulator that is famous for its active modding community and is developed by Image Space Incorporated, a developer of software for both commercial and military purposes. This cool video shows two drivers with opposing skill and experience levels behind the wheel of this really fast racing simulator. Oddly enough, I find them both equally entertaining.
