My buddy Sascha over on EpiaCenter posted this intriguing video featuring the MTube, a new kind of device known as an IMP or Internet Media Player. It's smaller than a BlackBerry, is based on VIA's credit card-sized Mobile-ITX motherboard, features a 1GHz VIA C7 CPU, 2.8-inch / 640 x 480 touchscreen, 8GB of flash memory and runs a Linux-based OS. Developed by Taiwan's Science and Technology Advisory Group, this little guy certainly looks like an IMP. Fingers crossed we'll see these in stores sometime later this year.

I'm just wondering when the Mobile-ITX will released to ordinary builders so that WE can actually use it OUR way.
