VIA has just announced it's latest EPIA Mini-ITX board, the VIA EPIA M700 the first VAIA EPIA product to feature the latest VIA VX800 system media processor, or all-in-one chipset as it's also known. The EPIA M700 is ideal for digital signage applications, not least because the addition of the VX800 adds plenty more umph to the video performance of the 1.8 GHz or fanless 1.0 GHz VIA C7 processor and also gives the EPIA M7000 dual DVI or DVI/HDMI options.
Here's a video I made:

Hi there, I was wondering how is the performance of this board, in particular is playback of HD (720/1080p) video.
I am very interested to find this out.

Don't buy this board. Does not work as promised with Linux. The max resolution with XP is only 1024x768. Big dissapointment Via!
